Our Guide to Physio

Physiotherapists are first contact practitioners, therefore you don’t need a referral to see us. However, if you are coming in on a workers claim (RTWSA), DVA (Veterans) or on Medicare (Care plan) you will require a claim or referral to be able to organise payment through these services. We only see NDIS who are self-managed or plan-managed.

Please wear comfortable clothes that allow us to easily access the area we are treating and to exercise if this is involved in your treatment.

Online is the easiest way to book, just follow the links on the webpage for our online booking system by clicking the “book now” button. We do have a clinic mobile you can call. If your call isn’t answered, leave or text a message and your call will be returned when we aren’t busy treating. Alternatively, you’re also welcome to email us at [email protected]

Our initial appointments are 45 minutes. We offer both a 30 minute and 45 minute option for follow up sessions depending on your needs. These are available for private, EPC/Medicare and NDIS clients. RTWSA appointments are 30 minutes (unless additional approval is sought through case managers). We do offer a limited number of home visits within the Port Lincoln area. Due to the additional time commitment, these do incur a travel fee additional to treatment time fee.

You will require a referral from your GP to be eligible to claim these services. This should be sent in advance of your appointment as forms need to be submitted prior to your session. Otherwise you will be unable to claim. These will not cover the full cost of your session. You will pay the full amount, then if you have your bank account connected to your Medicare, the cost covered by the plan will be reimbursed into your account.

We are able to treat both Plan-managed and Self-managed NDIS funding types. If you are plan managed, we will require the details of your plan manager to enable funding for your treatment. We do not currently accept Agency managed funds.

We accept workplace injury claims (Return to Work SA based). You will first need to see your GP to set up your claim and to organise workplace certificates. Then you will have a number allocated for your claim, which we use to cover the cost of your treatment.

For bookings our online booking system through the “book now” on the webpage is the easiest. For more lengthy communication we also have our email account [email protected] which is ideal, as this does not require coordination of availability. Our clinic mobile is 0457857297 to call or text, but this is only accessed between patient treatments so that treatment time can be focused and efficient.
